Just read the sad new about Buffin passing away yesterday at the age of 67 after a 10 year battle with Alzheimer's.
Saw him twice with Mott, his illness only allowing him to perform the encores. Another one taken too soon.

Latest, Tower of Power co-founder Mic Gillette -- Great band, esp. live -- they played w/the Dead a couple of times -- RIP bro
