Cream Junior

I am not sure when this was announced, but it seems pretty cheesy to me... on the other hand, if they make a decent cover band, it might be fun.

Ginger Baker. Jack Bruce. Eric Clapton.
Cream was a chemical explosion like no other, the blueprint for every supergroup to follow and the heavy blues precursor to Hendrix, Zeppelin and so much more.
Fifty years since their earth-shaking debut album, the bloodlines of that hallowed trilogy come together to pay tribute to Cream's legendary four-album reign over the psychedelic frontier of the late 1960s.
After their successful inaugural Music of Cream 50th Anniversary Tour in Australia and New Zealand in 2017,
Kofi BAKER (son of Ginger) and Malcolm BRUCE (son of Jack) unite with Will Johns (Eric's Nephew* and son of Zeppelin/ Stones/ Hendrix engineer Andy) to unleash the lightning that electrified a generation in an extensive World Tour.
Feel the fire and the freedom of "Spoonful", "Strange Brew", "Sunshine of Your Love", "White Room", "Crossroads" and "Badge" — Listen to the stories and see them interplay with their mentors on the big screen — master musicians whose lives have been steeped in the Cream spirit, celebrating an extraordinary legacy.

Did somebody say Cream?

Saw Cream twice at the Electric Factory in Philly. Two extraordinary evenings of music. Have to agree, this seems cheesy. IMO they need to do a lot of wood shedding to be an adequate cover band. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Sounded pretty good last year... of course they had a bit of help...

Kofi has brought a Cream tribute to my town a couple times. Haven't seen it yet but heard it was good.

Kofi Baker has family in my area, and he spends time here when he's not touring. He plays from time to time locally, and he's quite good. I've not caught this band.

This is just a side gig for Kofi as he has a lot of other music endeavors on his plate, in interviews he seems like a decent guy and never lived the rich spoiled son of a rock god. His father has treated him terrible and I just read a interview with Kofi where he slammed his dad. Can't say I blame him.

Cover or tribute bands just do not interest me anymore. Same reason I've never been to an Experience Hendrix show. There are just too many good bands out there playing original material to bother with this. I do admit though that there's a real good ABB tribute band here in the San Jose area and I've caught them 7 or 8 times. But hey..........they're doing ABB and doing it really well, and these shows are always no cover. I couldn't justify paying even $20 to see a tribute band.

I'll look to your pronouncement on music in the future as you have it all figured out.
