Cornell Dupree is one of my favorites, cool to see him at work.

My contribution - he’s in a supporting role on this one for sure, but not everyone got to play a session with Miles. Here he is on Miles Davis’ Red China Blues:

"Red China Blues"
Recorded Columbia Studio E, New York City March 9, 1972

Miles Davis — electric trumpet with wah-wah
Lester Chambers — harmonica
Cornell Dupree — electric guitar
Michael Henderson — bass guitar
Al Foster — drums
Bernard Purdie — drums
James Mtume — percussion
Wade Marcus — brass arrangement
Billy Jackson — rhythm arrangement

Oh ya - x2 - altho didn’t really hear Al Foster, the other drummer listed (who knows, mayb that’s him) - big Bernard fan - great harmonica, & how cool is that wah wah trumpet
Miles - awesome, thx - great links all around - almost forgot it was a Cornell Dupree thread 😮

Really enjoyed those funky videos. Thanks. Great guitar and groove from all the players.

That Brotherhood of Light show on the 3rd one, the one with Miles, made me high. Probably shouldn't have started at the screen so long. Wheeeee.
