Colonel Bruce School of Music

Topic starter
Who are the alumni?
The recent Jimi Page thread got me thinking...
I've got a theory that the Colonel has helped develop some of the best musicians of a generation. In fact, I think the Colonel's school has produced better pure musicianship than ever exemplified by Jimi Page.
If you also consider "The Wetland's" school, I don't think there has been a more creative time in American music.
Any thoughts?

Thanks to a fellow member (hey Blooby!), I finally watched the Basically Frightened DVD on Sunday. What an interesting dude and I did not know that he met Zappa in the 60's and stayed in touch w/ him. It now makes sense that there would be a connection.
Obviously, Oteil, Herring and Duane Trucks are enough of a legacy right there.
