Amazing. Fantastic night in my hometown, at Cinderlands Brewery, which created a peach-infused Brothers and Sisters IPA

The book is off and running. Hope some of you have read/are reading it. about to head to city Winery Atlanta for a great night with End of the Line, Tommy Talton and Vaylor Trucks.

This is really neat Alan. Wow, Chuck being there! Is there some kind of way to hear the conversation online?

Really looking forward to diving into your book. The reviews I have seen have been excellent!

Oh, and those beer cans look really cool! Any way a person can order one?  Smile

@lee Yes those cans are cool!!

The arrangement on Jessica from Brothers and Sisters is just fantastic. From Les Dudek's acoustic guitar to Jaimoe's congas to Chuck's piano including the big note Chuck holds at the end of the song all the way to the fade away is fantastic!!!

Dickey Betts told Dan Rather on Dickey's interview with Dan that after Duane died, if they were to continue, they had to grow another arm and that came from Chuck Leavell.

And Dickey said Chuck's involvement in the arrangement for Jessica for Brothers and Sisters was such that Chuck may should have gotten a writing credit!!

Brothers and Sisters is an excellent album which holds up very well 50 years later. It's fitting I think it's the best selling album by far by the Allman Brothers Band at over 7 million copies worldwide.

Jelly, Jelly is an excellent blues number. But I never saw the band play it live during the Chuck/Lamar years or any other lineup.

I bought a copy of Brothers and Sisters the day it came out in 1973. My original vinyl copy says Jelly, Jelly by Trade Martin on the label. But on the album sleeve it's says the song is Early Morning Blues written by Gregg Allman. Later copies say Jelly, Jelly by Trade Martin and Billy Eckstein on the liner notes.

@lee Thanks. The beeer is available all throughout Pittsburgh, But I don't think elsewhere. The event was not officially recorded. I figured someone would record, but I haven't seen it surface.

Here's the Chuck portion of this fun event. Sorry for the poor audio quality.

Really nice article on you in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Thursday too. Too bad I didn’t read the paper and learn about the event until Thursday night, already after the event.

Wow what a treat! How cool was that....Congrats again, Alan

And I'm not a big fruity beer guy, but you certainly seemed to be enjoying that peach brew so I'm gonna have to seek some out

Shoot I guess I'll have to visit steel town to buy the beer as they won't ship to Chicago!
