Anybody watching Warren Hayne's Christmas Jam tonight? Just saw Blackberry Smoke's set. My first introduction to hearing their music. Still to come: Avett Bros, Trey, Les Bros, Mule with Ann Wilson guesting and More. Cool I'm enjoying very much so far! 😉 Grin

The Les Bros set went ahead with Warren and Paul Riddle in place of Jaimo and Jack Pearson. Was there any announcement or intel about what happened to Jaimo and Jack? I was looking forward to watching the videos as any chance to see Jack play ABB tunes is a treat.

If Jaimoe didn't play, I wouldn't read too much into it There have been occasions over the years where he didn't play with the ABB. His drum tech filled in.

Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

Warren said "Jaimoe and Jack were supposed to be here but they're not so we're sending this music out to them and everybody else." Although I was looking forward to hearing Jack, I thought Mike Barnes, Charlie Starr from Blackberry Smoke and Marcus King were special in Les Bros too. Taz N. sat in as well. Marcus really stepped up and it was a pleasure to listen to his playing. Nods to Gregg throughout the evening included Warren singing Melissa off the top, Warren and Trey performing Miss You and then Midnight Rider and Les Bros leading with Ain't Wasting Time No More and ending with Dreams and Whipping Post. (Liz Reed, Southbound and Blue Sky in the middle of the set list.) Enjoyed Lamar Jr.'s vocals too.

Folks....Marcus took the first solo on "Whipping Post" and ripped ass. Solo of the night in my opinion. Turn it up;

Also - for you skiers, mountain enthusiasts, hikers, partiers- those looking for amazing wintertime beauty and adventure - THE MARCUS KING BAND will be making an appearance at Beech Mountain Ski Resort on February 10, 2018 at 7 pm as a part of Beech Mountain 50th Anniversary Winter Music Series in the High Country Mountains region of western North Carolina.

I love this because you can see Warren's reactions throughout Marcus' solo. Made me smile!
