One of my favorite performances from Dylan's 30th (and there are many) is Chrissie Hynde's "I Shall be Released"

@porkchopbob Yes this is fantastic! She has such a great voice. It's so attractive. Some days all I want to hear is her singing.

I DVR'd the AXS special and watched it last night.  It started out kind of slow and I actually was a bit bored for the first 15 or 20 minutes.  But the more and more they played Chrissie doing all these Dylan songs, I soon became mesmerized.  Chrissie is probably my favorite female rocker ever.  When the first Pretenders record came out in 1978 I remember my buddy and I saying, "Wow.  A chick with BALLS!"  It was a groundbreaking record.  I never really looked at Chrissie as a great singer, more as a great writer and performer.  That is all starting to change after seeing the AXS doc.  And the spin she puts on the Dylan tunes is pure genius to these ears.  I'll be picking up this record for sure.
