Ouch. I certainly was not present during the making of any of the Crowes' music, but saying that the drummer is someone who was "on the sidelines" and thus not qualified to write the story seems like a big stretch.

FWIW, Steve Gorman played great drums with the Crowes.

Gorman was a big part of the Crowes sound. He joined them in Mr Crowe's Garden in '87 and was one of 3 of them there for the whole ride after they became Black Crowes in 1989 (minus a few shows total).

Saying things like "writing about some stuff that you watched" and "didn't create anything" are the words of a complete jerk whether or not your former bandmate was a songwriter or not.

CR is a dick- head, I'm sure that is made evident in the book. Smile

I had the displeasure of meeting CR a few times. It’s truly painful to be stuck in the same room as CR. Steve is a great guy, but I don’t want to read about CR.
