Cornell could really, really deliver on cover tunes. Still seems impossible. Multiple years of subriety from alcohol & heroin...but on some anti-anxiety meds. Professional and personal life going well for a 52 year old rocker. Has aged well professionally and publicly. (which is surely not always the whole story). Has done some really nice philanthropy work.

He spent Sun (Mother's Day) - Wed at home with his wife & family.
Travels to Chicago to meet his band.
Talks to his wife on phone after he lands where they discuss Memorial Day weekend plans.
Plays a sold out show for 5000 (where he was admittedly "off" per a trustworthy reviewer).
Talks to his wife after the show with slurred speech saying he took 1-2 too many anxiety pills.
Hangs himself immediately after possibly hanging up on wife.
