The only thing available is the VIP dinner and show for $1,000 per.
What a debacle trying to get tix for this show, or any other high volume show at this venue which is one of my favorites. The folks are great who work there and try to accommodate the best they can, but I had issues for the original Gregg shows that were canceled and rescheduled and then he left us. My wife and I will be there, but not sure if I can capture the night as my seats aren't that great, but "I'll be trying to make a taping and doing the best I can"
This show could have sold out the Beacon. I hope City Winery makes a good profit on it. The twice cancelled series of Gregg concerts I'm sure cost them a pretty penny.
As our rock-stars age out of bigger venues (with the rare exceptions) it is the price (limited tickets) we have to pay for our comfort.

A pretty penny and then some. I had 6 total tickets for the Gregg shows. 2 up front center against the stage and then 4 tickets at the VIP table closest to center right on the rail (optimal for taping). The tickets were $175 each for a grand total of $1,050. I had both Sunday shows. There were 10 total shows with no shows on either Saturday or Tuesday. When they canceled the November run and rescheduled the same 10 for July they gave the option to get a full refund on your credit card or keep your same seats for the rescheduled shows. Of course I took the same seats for the July dates.
When Gregg's health took a turn for the worst and eventually passed. The City Winery made the offer for a full refund on your credit card or take a store credit (for tickets only/no food) for twice the amount of ticket value. I being a music loving fool took the double store credit and wound up with $2,100 of ticket money. It took me only 5 months to blow through it. I would've much rathered a healthy Gregg and sat my ass in them chairs for his shows.
So it did cost them a pretty penny plus.

If I remember correctly they also had a few free shows just with the backing band to keep some money coming into the club.

I figured with the new shows being in the next calendar year that it may have been easier to sweeten the pot rather dig deep for spent money from shows paid for 9 months prior. Just a guess?
The initial cancellations were only for the 1st two shows, So Scott and the GAB played 2 free shows on Sunday and Monday w/Gregg attempting to join for the Wednesday show on. They made it a full cancelation on that Monday.
I know a good portion of the staff and love the music so I attended both shows, taped them, drank, & tipped well, We're all just trying to make a living. Here's a couple tunes from both nights, Full show is there if you care to dabble. Just do a search on my page with keyword Scott.

I believe they open @ 11am, I never went for lunch, but have had others items for dinner at shows, typical Manhattan prices.

Totally agree. It's not worth stopping in just for the food with so many superior places in that area. Ear Inn is great. If you're just looking for bar food, Tribecca Tavern down the road ain't bad, and great view of the Ghostbusters firehouse.
I hate how many shows go through City Winery these days. Sure, it can be nice and intimate, but I'd rather be at a small concert hall where there aren't waitresses clanking plates or Financial bros blabbering at the bar. No doubt they pay artists well, but these musicians shouldn't be playing dinner theater.
