A true artist - and a true loss. As a bonehead rocknroller in the 70s, I could never crack the jazz code, it was way beyond me. Heard Taylor and somehow "got it". Still limited in my ability to understand and appreciate jazz, but Taylor opened the door to the jazz greats for me.
