Man, back in the day...whatever it was, Bonnie Raitt had it,.... her voice gives me the chills here and you can hear Lowell's slide as well, very cool

I ran into this about 3-4 years ago. This is one of my favorite versions of any song. Made me dig into Bonnie's earlier stuff as I was mostly exposed to her latter , more poppy stuff.

I took my parents, who are big blues fans, to see John Hammond Jr. recently. I bought them tickets for Christmas.

I can't say enough good things about that show. If you are a fan of the blues, and enjoy stories about the blues and the people who play the blues, it would be scientifically impossible for you to not enjoy a John Hammond Jr. show. He is still out there getting it done.

As my Mom said after the show, "What a treasure!"

I saw him about 20 years ago, and he changed a guitar string in about 15 seconds while doing an intro to the next song. I guess he's done it a time or three.

that's a fantastic version of Can't Find my Way Home, and yes, it is from the WLIR show (I still miss that radio station). I don't think John Hammond played on that tune. It's a great show. Early 70s Bonnie was fantastic

I've never seen JH but would love to
