I am a little slow with learning the most up to date technology regarding apps and devices, so maybe someone here can guide me in the right direction.....(and maybe this has been discussed in the forum previously)

I have boxes of live shows, from the Allman Brothers Band, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Doors, etc. all on multiple CDRs. These are CDRs that I downloaded onto disc from the net, or received in trades. Now, I want to upload these shows to an app, so I can listen to these shows on my iPad. Currently I listen to music from my devices more than from a CD player.

Can I use my computer to upload my CDRs to an app? If so what software or apps should I use? And most importantly, is this something that can actually be done?

Thanks!

Yes it can be done
If you have an iPhone or iPod or iPad , the easiest thing is to get itunesfree and import your cds or shows to it directly. From there you can put them on your device.

You can choose the compression you want, depending on how much memory you have and how picky your ears are. If you have a Mac you can import them as lossless files.
