I hate being the bearer of bad news but I have just been notified of the passing of Byrd Wyatt.  I don't remember his site name or avatar, but Byrd is the brother of David (Goliath).  Both go waaay back on this website and are fountains of all things Allman Brothers related.  Like his brother David, Byrd was a very accomplished musician.  I do not think I've ever met a kinder or gentler soul than Byrd.  My immediate regret is that I have not been in contact with him since the outbreak of Covid - which along with the demise of the ABB, really tabled a lot of friendships.

I offer my most sincere condolences to David and to all of Byrd's family and friends - which must've been an astronomical number of people.
