Butch's service in Macon

I had heard that Jaimoe was the last to speak. Just wondered if anyone knew what some of his comments were. Thanks!

I sure do miss the one and only Claude Hudson Trucks!!!

I recorded Jaimoe's talk and will ask him for permission to share a bit.

Please and Thanks!

When was this? Soon after his passing or more recently?

I assume the services very shortly after Butch's passing is what's being referred to. They were held in a theater somewhere --- family and friends said words, a slideshow with pictures projected against the back wall of the stage, the band minus Gregg played some tunes, and it all just felt very somber. For good reason....
There was video of this going around and may still be on youtube

Thanks Alan! That would be nice!

Sure. I don't think Jaimoe would mind but I need to be certain. It was a very nice but, of course, somber event. Everyone who spoke was great. Oteil walked up there with a box of tissues and just sobbed and talked throughout.
