I found this on facebook.

http://liveforlivemusic.com/news/butch-trucks-doesnt-think-gregg-allman-healthy-enough-reunite-allman-brothers/

Atlanta Business Chronicle: I’ve asked Gregg (Allman. Read that interview here) so I have to ask you my mandatory reunion question. Will there ever be another The Allman Brothers Band reunion?

Butch Trucks: It’s possible but unlikely. To be quite honest, it gets down to whether or not Gregg is healthy enough to do it. There are some other complications but we can get the other things ironed out if Gregg is healthy enough to do it. If he’s not healthy enough to do it, we just can’t do it.

ABC: He sounded great at his most recent show in Atlanta but he did just cancel his tour.

BT: He’s been going in and out lately. He’ll get sick then healthy. I know he just rescheduled his tour so that gives me an optimistic feeling but we’ll see what happens.

That's how I feel. But if Gregg were to decide to completely stop touring/playing live and decided not to reunite the Allmans I would be OK with this. I'm grateful to have seen Gregg seen him and his band live before, have seen Dickey and Great Southern, Butch Trucks and freight train, and been to 20+ Allmans shows over the decades starting as a teenager until my late 20s.

As someone posted in a previous thread, they hit it outta the park w/their final shows Oct. 28-29 2014 --

besides who would they have for guitarists -- Jack & Chuck have been mentioned in reunion threads but nothing IMO can top what they've already done w/ (I love) the ABBBoth as full time members and their many tremendous guest appearances over the years
-- meantime Les Brers & Freight Train have picked up the mantle & all good indeed -- thanks for the tunes
