Short and sweet, Buddy is still a great fun energetic character and a blues legend. Get out and see the Gent. He closes BB Kings in NY tomorrow night, It will be another gem of an evening for all who attend. His band is tight and includes Rick Hall (g), Marty Sammon (k), Orlando Wright (b) & Tim Austin (d).

He's got the lion's share of his present tour happening now (link below), Go with friends, go with family, or go alone, but you should see this National Treasure while he walks the earth. Long Live Mr.Guy, Rock on Sir!

I arrived too late for most of the opener's set. I did grab some CD's after seeing them join Buddy for a tune. I love the violin as a musical weapon. Rachel Ammons had some nice bluesy RnR fills during the tune. Nicky Sanders from the SCR is another fiddler who's diverse lick bag I appreciate. I'll be looking to see them down the road.

honestly, unless they have done something about the horrific sound in that place, ill never go see another show there.
they lost me years ago at The Mule show, big muddy mix of noise.
