Buddy Guy

Well, read a great interview with Buddy on Rollingstone.com and he now has his own radio station. Go to www.buddyguyradio.com to find out more. You can listen live, listen to podcasts, and find out what all is playing during each day of the week. I plan on tuning in quite a bit!!

I’ll be checking this out thanks. His latest album is excellent. The blues are alive and well.

Buddy is one of Clapton's favorite players.
Reading about a guy who paid good money for a Strat Buddy use to own and play. Black and white circles painted on the body. But later discovered it was one of several painted like Buddy's. OUCH!!

I read the interview yesterday. This is the thing about Buddy. In a world where the word legendary is thrown around, Buddy is indeed legendary. He has done everything and seen everything,
I flew from NYC to Chicago to see him at Legends in January during his annual run there. Second time I have done it. There is an ambience about those shows that is both a homecoming and a very relaxed ambience. He was terrific. Charming, funny, and incredibly entertaining. Setlists was loose as he was drinking his Henny from a coffee cup. I managed to get him to sign his live album that I bought at the merch stand after the show.
I am really hoping that I can do it again in January and couple it with a Tedeschi Trucks show as they perform in Chicago every January. But who the hell knows will know what will happen in this new world.
