Makes sense to me. cash in now, take the zillions you already have and set up stuff to take care of your family for the next 500 years
I can't imagine the catalogs are going to be generating considerable money 100 years from now. How much do the Gershwin and Berlin catalogs generate, especially after the copyrights go to PD
