In Memory of Tom I was bragging today how I saw Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers back up Bob Dylan at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley in 1986. In response one of them sent me this ..............an entire show! I'm in shock, I had NO idea this footage existed. Well, it's CLOSE to an entire show...........one hour 53 minutes............they are still playing when the video ends. I just watched the entire video...........it's great, complete with a four part female backing vocal section. About 1/2 hour of it is Petty and band playing without Dylan. ENJOY!
Caught this tour in Phoenix - amazing show, best backup for Dylan I ever heard other than The Band or the Dead.

I caught this tour at the MSG, It's a pleasant flashback, A sweet documentation. Some special musical moments have gone uncaptured, It's a good thing this pairing didn't. Thanx.
