Now that's a hoedown! Great jamming bluegrass band. Billy Strings (William "the" Apostol) has his own band of gypsies, Billy Fielding on Banjo, Royal Masat on Bass, & Jarrod Walker on Mandolin. Great blend of strings. This is like the Lost Pizza Tapes revisited. It's just so good, Ya gotta give them a listen. My mediocre videos don't do them justice so I've included a cleaner grab. A sound so refreshing it's invigorating.

I saw them at a small festival a few weeks ago, and he (and his band) were amazing.
I've heard some of his stuff recently - fantastic.

Before moving to Nashville and gaining popularity he would play these small breweries around Grand Rapids MI solo. I was working 2nd shift at the time and missed them because I was working, really wish I cut out of work early once or twice. Anyway he is pretty awesome and a nice person. His former fiddle player now plays with Bruce Hornsby.
