Jeez, what a great question.
While I love Rush and buy every album and have seen them a good half dozen times, I tend to lose the thread after "Signals." I guess "Power Windows" was the last album of theirs I had on vinyl. I think "Roll the Bones" was the last record of theirs I really listened to a lot with great glee, though I recognized "Snakes and Arrows" as a real gem.
I did enjoy that the Clockwork Angels tour really focused on tunes from this period you speak of rather than the early classics.
These are a few that come to mind, sure there are more.

Any good songs on the Hold Your Fire album?
On "Hold Your Fire," I dig "The Mission." It's better live, but ain't they all?
It leaves itself open for an EPIC closing solo, like "Xanadu," but doesn't reach those heights.
