Best note ever?

Pretty good notes on Trower's Bridge Of Sighs.

I can't remember what tune it was ("Blue Sky" maybe?), but Jack Pearson used to sustain a note for thirty seconds or so. It was a regular thing in that solo.
Blooby

Jeff Beck... 'Cause We've Ended As Lovers opens on a soulful note. (and yes yes to EC and Old Love... he has a way with a note... sublime )

jeff beck...too many to mention in good by pork pie hat.....
toy caldwell....last note bend before sax solo in live 24 hours
beatles..i feel fine first note
etc

Never been able to tell for sure whether it was DA or DB, but there is a note in the Ludlow version of "Dimples"...
I'm curious about this note.
Solo break after second verse: first half DA, second half DB
Guitar break after fake ending (at 2:17): DA until @3:30, DB from there until end

First note in David Gilmour's solo in Comfortably Numb.
First note in the original studio version of Bob Seger's Mainstreet. Alto always plays it with the Sax in concert and it isn't even close to that original.
First note when Boston's Foreplay/Long Time goes in to Long Time

The note Jorma rips into "Easy Now" on "Phosphorescent Rat", or his feedback intro to "Understanding is a Virtue" on "After Bathing at Baxters". Both note-worthy

speaking of Jorma, the 1st note of Good Shepard
the last note of Water Song

Duane at 3:10-3:12; "Dreams" on the first album.
Duane at 2:08; "Statesboro Blues"; Syria Mosque: 1/17/71. Bwang!
Billastro

There are several that come to mind, both from Mike Bloomfield.
Stop (from Super Session) at 23 seconds
It's My Own Fault with Johnny Winter (from The Lost Concert Tapes) at 5:35 (right after Johnny does his solo, there's a slight pause and then Michael just wails!)

Stop (from Super Session) at 23 seconds
Yes.

Duane = Don't Keep Me Wondering.
Yes! Ever. Single. Time.

Somebody already mentioned You Enjoy Myself by Phish, which has a big sustained note in it.
But I was listening to Divided Sky the other day, and that whole song is basically built around a series of long sustained notes. It's actually a very clever composition in terms of how the "big notes" are incorporated into the chord changes.
Even if you don't like most Phish, this might be worth 10 minutes of your time. Like many Phish songs, it is a prog-rock suite with several sections. The section with the big notes starts around 6:48....

^^
Trey mentioned that note as a "transcendent moment" for him on stage (Chicago, 94, iirc) during a Charlie Rose intervew before the break up.
Other "notes" worth mentioning
Derek - intro to Sahib Teri Bond
Trane - the last segment of A Love Supremei

Duane = Don't Keep Me Wondering.
Yes! Ever. Single. Time.
AMEN!!!

jorma @ 4:12 of wooden ships - gets me every time

That last big choir note at the end of "You Can't Always Get What You Want"
and that big crunchy slam into "Cross Eyed Mary" after the intro
