Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,
Bernie lives about 15 miles from where I used to live. One night in the local pub in the village down the road from mine, he stood in for the guitarist in a local band. The audience was around 20 people. Towards the end of the set, Bernie asked if anyone has any requests. I asked for Stormy Monday and they duly played it. We chatted after the set, he’s a very interesting and affable guy. (I have a photo from that night but don't know how to share it on here!)I’ve also seen him play in his local pub, The Royal Oak with Neil Murray and others.
So, there you go; that’s my brief brush with rock royalty!
