So sad - RIP Tim 🙁

RIP Tim. Hate reading how many musicians I grew up with are passing on. Knew him from Neil and Bob's work.

R.I.P. Tim

damn, sad news, R.I.P. Tim and thanks for the great music you have left with us to enjoy.

Tim also played with James Brown, among many others. While he lived in Nashville, he played some with a friend of mine and his band. He was asked, with great anticipation, one night what kind of great musical insight James provided, what was his philosophy towards music and what kind of great wisdom he shared.
Tim looked at the guy and said, "The only thing James ever said to me was: I don't care where you go for the two, three or the four, everybody's here on the one."

RIP Tim-a gifted bass player.
