I was in Austin from 6/11/24 through today, went for my brother's show Wednesday with Alanis Morissette. How could I resist going to The Continental Club my last night in Austin? Just the place where Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan cut their teeth, that's all. Last night was a most wonderful Tribute To Amy Winehouse, an 8 piece with a 3 piece horn section, Hammond organ, and an incredible vocalist doin' her Amy thang, and doin' it SO well. I have TONS more in the can, will post more later.

Amy was a genius of a songwriter and this is one of my favorite tunes. This one's about girls in their 20's who rely solely on their looks to get them by. I am copying the lyrics below.
