Yeah its legit, its gonna start rolling in soon with the snow and temp drop.   We shall see!!

Weather sounds brutal. I bought tickets for my brother to fly down from WI to FL for the holidays, even have xmas day Packers tickets. He was supposed to fly out right now, but it's canceled. Even in FL the snow can still ruin your day!

Temps are going to be pretty brutal for football. I think the Bears play at home tomorrow Christmas eve.

Not as much snow as they said, but the wind and temps are pretty rough. I left early to get to work at the hospital this AM, and there are still some patients on the schedule. We shall see!!

It's 11 F were I am and going down to 5 F by 6pm. I feel for Porkchopbob and his brother. What a disappointment. At least he has sent stuck in an airport. 

Just saw footage on the inside El Paso airport and so many poor folks from south of the border are in the chairs and on the floor there isn't anywhere to walk and the restrooms are overwhelmed. 

Good old Tony is still living. Tony is 96 now. Frank Sinatra once called Tony his favorite singer. 

My favorite Tony Bennett song. My grandmother played it a lot on her record player in 1964. 

This morning 26 at 7am, right now 31.  7 am Christmas Eve morning 14.  Kinda cold for mid Georgia.

In Chicago today I think the high was -2. Wind chill -22. 40 mph winds. I had to go out this morning. I did not enjoy it! 😀 Tickets for tomorrow's Bears game can be had for as low as $6. I was offered a pair. I asked how much they were going to pay me.

Next Saturday the high is supposed to be 51. Quite a swing!

@lee:  I hear you.  Being a wimpy Californian all my life until recently, you could not PAY me to sit at a game in those temps.  When I was still working in a hospital I met an ex-linebacker named Dan Perry who had played on those Rams teams from the 60's.  I asked him about playing in the playoffs in Minnesota (which of course did NOT have a dome back then).  He said for one of those games was it was 30 degrees below zero!!!  That's just inhumane IMO.  Should have been cancelled.  I'll bet some guys took years off of their life playing in those conditions.  Can you imagine hitting a guy at 30 below?  Actually he told me that was the best part of the game:  "You'd hit someone and he had all of this warm sweat pouring off of him.  You would just hold on."

@robslob The guys working at the airport have it rough too. But at least they are not being tackled when you are frozen.

The guys who put the luggage and cargo on this flight were out in the cold snow loading and unloading.

They sure did have it rough. I dont mind the winter so much, like the change of seasons, but it was pretty cold here this weekend!!  

I am not much on heights and flying, so I would be hard pressed to get on a plane in  those conditions. Yikes!!!
