Bob Dylan & The Band

Saw that tour - for some reason I can't recall anything other than I was there. I blame Southern Comfort.

Ok, well looks like my list was shot to pieces, leaving me with nothing but:

Baker Gurvitz Army
Keith and Donna Godchaux
Wipers
Green River (they sucked. the proto pre-Vedder Pearl Jam)

Kinda pitiful, but the Ginger Baker and Wipers shows were pretty good.

Back to the attic, rummage some more gotta be some more shows in the dust and cobwebs .

Lots of great bands and it seems that usually another member or 20 saw them too.

Not a concert but in the "no one else was there" category, Keith Emerson sat and played piano/keys at a friends house for an evening. My buddy's dad worked for Roland and was good friends with Keith. he called me up and told me to drop by as he has a surprise for me. Keith was the surprise. He sat playing and trying out some various Roland things.

Definitely one of the best things that I ever witnessed.

I've really enjoyed reading this thread; interesting breadth and depth of concert performances.

My best personal example would have to be Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue with special guest Willie Nelson.

Couple more

Crucif*cks (phenomenal, saw with Dead Kennedys and Doc Dart stole the show)

Major Lingo (Arizona jam band 1980s-90s, their original dummer Tim Alexander went on to join Primus)

Ini Kamoze ( "Here Comes the Hotstepper" great performer, caught him at Reggae Inna Hopiland, used to be reggae shows up on the Hopi Mesas, very cool, saw Burning Spear, Rastafarians up there too)
