Two very different bands but with ties with Keith Relf.

I was transferring vinyl to digital tonight and started with Armageddon and then the Renaissance album Turn of the Cards which doesn't have Keith but still the connection.

I've always loved the Armageddon album but haven't heard it in years.. I still love it!

The Renaissance album is very different and also very good I love Annie Haslam's vocals and during parts Jon Camp's bass reminds me of Chris Squire... a very progressive rock album that's been forgotten, sadly.

Still have my Armegeddon album album I bought when it was released in the 70's. I got it mainly because drummer Bobby Caldwell ( Johnny Winter And, Captain Beyond) was in the band but having Relf as well peaked my interest. I love the album, which has some unique time signatures in several songs. Pity they only lasted 1 album and only played a couple of live shows before falling apart.

I was/am also a big Renaissance fan. I highly recommend the Live at Carnegie Hall album if you don't already have it.

Renaissance with Relf and McCarty is very different than the band with Annie Haslam.
