I saw that commercial on TV recently and was wondering who the singer and the band was.

Definitely made me want to check out more of their music.

That is Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. I enjoy them very much. A few years back, they were booked at many different kinds of festivals, including Lollapalooza and Chicago Blues Festival.
