Allman Brothers Live 10 CD Box Set Radio Broadcasts

Anyone heard of this before? It popped up on my Facebook page. I'm thinking it's got to be an unauthorized bootleg. What the hell? I did an Amazon search, it did not show up. Searched munckmusic.com also, nothing.

The crackdown on crack show in 1986 is the only one I haven't heard.
Some of the Winter land ballroom 1973 is on the album Wipe the Windows, Dollar Gas.
If this is a bootleg I imagine the people involved with the band will block this.

This is probably an import. European copyright laws regarding publically broadcasted live performances are different than US laws. The copyrights in Europe have expired allowing live shows to be released there. These shows are still copyrighted in the states.

@robertdee, It is a grey market release in Europe which evidently is legal over there.
I have heard there is a quirk in the copyright laws in the EU which allows anyone to release a "Radio Show" as they are considered public domain. Amazon UK is loaded with these grey market "radio show" releases.
SQ varies all over the place but the few I bought from Amazon UK were actually decent and a nice listen.
If the bands ever release these shows officially I would buy them in a heartbeat but until then this is the only way to get physical media at a reasonable price compared to the expensive Bootlegs from Asia.

I agree most of the music been put out before on other titles. I can't imaging the band in favor of this release either. I looked at he packaging and the 10 CD song list and don't find anything that I don't already own. I'm sure someone will purchase though and it won't be the last time this kind of item appears...

It sounds like them at the Crack show but either they are wearing a disguise or the video is another band. it doesn't look like them so I'm not sure if that is them on the screen but it is ABB on the audio.
Here is the October 1986 Crackdown on Crack concert Bill Graham put on in New York City.
Dickey and Danny Toler are often doing a lot of fast licks shredding. Other versions of the band didn't do that much. In 1986 the ABB didn't have a bass player. Gregg and Butch didn't care for David Goldflies so they used two bass players. One from Gregg's band and one from Gregg's band depending on the song. Chuck is on keys and Butch and Jaimoe are on drums.
Gregg and Dickey toured all summer playing at the same clubs and bars. Dickey would play first, then Gregg. Followed by a third set where Gregg and Dickey and certain band members would play Allman Brothers music. I saw a few of these show and Butch and Jaimoe weren't there. I think it was David Toler with Gregg and Matt Abts with Dickey. Chuck played with Dickey for a few years after the ABB decided to pull the band from the road with the stand off with Arista Records. But I don't remember Chuck being with Dickey or Gregg in 1986 but Chuck did play the very few Allman Brothers shows they did in 1986.
