Yes a hot tight set with great guitars from Jack and Dickey. This lineup when they are on is clearly as good as any post Duane Allman lineup. Too bad they never did an album and Jack decided to quit the next year. Actually it's better than Derek Jimmy or Derek Warren because Dickey is in it. The more original members you can put on the stage the better. Especially the old songs. When Dickey is on Blue Sky and Jessica it's like Gregg being on Dreams and Whipping Post. Plus Dickey can't say he was being impersonated when it is Dickey himself.

If they are serious about having an official Jack era release, this is a good one. But Bert Holman said Jack would be allowed to pick the show from those that are available. The Raleigh 1997 show may be hotter than this one but you can put this on a DVD too.
