Derek has a whammy on that SG? Don't think Ive noticed Derek with one before.
Haven't noticed him using it but I didn't watch all of this so far today.
Last I read Derek talk about guitars he was using one of the custom "Brother to Brother" SGs. The original had a whammy and they bored holes in the body of the custom versions because the original had holes where the whammy had been mounted.
Appears to be a vintage SG Derek owns, but doesn't often play. Maybe he brought it to Wanee since he was close to home and didn't have to worry about touring with it?

I do (own a vintage ’61 SG), and it has that vintage magic, but I don’t take it or my other vintage guitars on the road. I think of those as the kids’ college funds.
