Allman Bros Miller Beer Commercials (1993) Audio

The ABB recorded a pair of Miller radio spots the day after their 1993 Clinton Inauguration party performance. These are take-offs on One Way Out and Statesboro Blues it seems. I remember one of them playing on the radio back in the day. One of Kirk West's friends on Facebook posted it. Here is the link to the audio clips:

Nice, I actually like a Genuine Draft now and again

That's pretty cool. Damn, they sound good. Wish we could go back to '93 and start my journey w/ the band all over again!

That's 5 songs from Where It All Begins which wasn't released until Spring 1994 plus Same Thing which I had never heard them do (not even sure if I was familiar with it at the time).
I remember that night and thinking one of the new songs sounded kind of straight rock (almost pop rock) but a solid tune. As I look at those 5 songs, I for the life of me can't figure out which one I would have had that opinion about (maybe All Night Train).
And did Gregg sing Change My Way of Living. I think he did at least some of the time in 1993 and I always thought the song was more up his alley than Dickey's.

I thought this thread was about beer, can we get back to Genuine Draft please?
😉

They can't help it...they got caught up in a time period when the band was great.

Pretty cool. Some pretty nice slide work along with strong Gregg vocals. Gives Clapton's "After Midnight" Michelob spot a run for its money.
