Allman Betts Band with guest Billy Strings - 8/14/21 - "Midnight Rider" - Hoxeyville - Wellston, MI

Liked it. Didn't look like Billy Strings. But I'm sure it was. I've seen Allman Betts Band three times. The Les Paul Jr. Billy is playing is Devon's guitar that apparently belonged to Gregg. Devon said Gregg owned 42 guitars at his death and gave ALL of them to Devon. I've never seen Gregg play a junior but apparently it was Gregg's. Devon seems to be playing often.
Some of those juniors sound real nice.

Some of those juniors sound real nice. A bit off topic and I’ve read it before so I’ll assume it’s accurate; but how in the world does Gregg leave EVERY guitar of his to Devon alone? He was alive when Duane’s Goldtop was being offered for 7 figures so he knows his personal guitar collection is worth a small fortune. I’ve seen pics of Gregg w Devon and his daughters so they weren’t all estranged. How do these rock stars mismanage their estates so bad? If I were one of GA’s kids and my brother-in-law inherited 40+ personal instruments I’d be pretty resentful, regardless of what I may or may not have been left.

@thetoweringfool That is what Devon said in an interview. Devon said he was surprised his father owned 42 guitars...and Devon said "And he left them all to me".
CORRECTION!!;Gregg had 43 guitars and left them all to Devon.
