Just curious if any of you all have any album's framed and hanging in your dwellings. I know you can buy those frames to put them in , and I have been thinking about doing it. The problem is I could probably go over board because there are so many I would want!!!!

I think they are called "flats" maybe. The where  12x12 pictures/promos of the album that would hang in the record store. Am I thinking right?

This is in Dickey Betts' house in Osprey, Florida.

It seems all the albums on the wall are albums Dickey is on.

Duane Betts is on vacation in Bali, Indonesia but is returning in time for New Orleans Jazz Festival..

I have one album cover that I put in one of those inexpensive frames a few years ago. The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's album cover parody "We're Only in It for the Money" by the Mothers of Invention. I had it on a wall in my music room but I just recently took it down to repaint the room. I know what you mean about the temptation to go overboard with them but so far I've been able to limit myself to just that one. I figure I can just swap it out with another album if I get tired of looking at it.

The album art hangings in this room at Dickey Betts' house as much as I can see are:

(Top row left to right) Pattern Disruptive, Reach For the Sky and Enlighten Rouges.

(Bottom row left to right) At Fillmore East, Eat A Peach and Highway Call.

Anyone see it differently?

I think I see Gregg to the far left. In another video taken in Dickey's house in a different part there is a framed picture of Dickey and Gregg next to each other hanging on the wall.

I have mostly concert posters framed, but I also have a few LPs framed as well. But only if they art is as good as the music. With one exception.

My brother was working at Carson Daly 20 years ago when the Allman Brothers were booked as musical guest. He got the band to sign an LP for my birthday. Brothers & Sisters was the only LP he could find last minute, so it's really hard to see any of the signatures (never mind only 3 of them played on the album). I'm not really a signature guy, but it was super thoughtful of him so I have a random kid framed on my wall and if you look close at the leaves you can see Gregg Allman wrote his name. Which is funny because Vaylor Trucks uses an illustration of that album that I did as his social media avatar. I ran into him at the last Wanee and told him I get a kick out of that when it pops up in my feed, and that he's randomly hanging on my wall.

I converted my garage into a rock and roll bar. Tried for juke joint theme and used album covers for border. No frames though.

Album covers, none.

More oriented to other type things. Three paintings by Captain Skipper's daughter of Duane, Derek and SRV. A number of concert advertising posters of ABB, DTB (from the venues) and a Freddie King/Willie Dixon one from '73. Record store album promo posters of several artists including ABB. A large placard of the performance schedule at the outer Ernie Ball Concert stage at the 2010 Crossroads concert in Chicago. Among the listed players, Sonny Landreth, Joe Bonamassa, Robert Randolph and at one of (if not the last) public performance of Honeyboy Edwards, at the time the last living direct link to Robert Johnson.

Probably forgetting a few other things.

I have nothing music or sports related on the walls of our house.

Artwork decorating is the wife's domain and she has some nice paintings and framed vintage US and World hand drawn maps (17th and 18th century) hanging.

I have tons of  vintage concert posters, especially Rolling Stones, I collected over the years in tubes in the closet that I would hang if we ever finish our walkout basement into a man cave.

I do have ABB record store poster for The Fillmore Concerts boxset  and Atlanta Pop hanging in my office at work.

Got about 60+ pieces in my basement man cave... album covers, posters, photos, drum heads, tambourines, guitar pick guards, back stage passes, programs, tickets and colored vinyl. Many have autographs. Steve Miller, Peter Frampton, J. Geils, Gregg Allman, George Thorogood, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Jon McFee, Tom Johnson, Dickey Betts, Hughie Thomasson, Mickey Hart, Marty Stuart, Artmus Pyle, Steven Stills, Jaimoe, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard and more.

Will try to get some pix up soon.
