I have a picture of a letter that Duanne wrote Donna on Thanksgiving Day of 1969. In the letter Duanne tells Donna that the gig on the day before was cancelled. The letter is written on Holiday Inn Stationary from the Holiday Inn in Virgina Beach, Virginia. You can tell that Duanne was in a somber mood in the letter. Based on Thanksgiving Day in 1969 (11/27/69) would mean they were scheduled to play possibly on Nov. 26th, 27th (Turkey Day), 28th or 29th. However there are no tour dates that show on those days on this site. I guess it is possible that the entire tour was cancelled. Anyone know anything about this suubject?
