How folks could stay seated and just casually drink and smoke at their tables is beyond me.

I don't remember that intro to Jessica where Dickey and Gregg play around a bit before the tune kicks in --- was that a common thing at the time?

I always hated that this show ended before Whipping Post was over.

This show is one of my favorites. Gregg really killed on vocals, especially on Low Down Dirty Mean and Gambler's Roll.

Blue Sky from this show has been on YouTube for some time. It has over a million views. Some of the comment praise Warren for the killer tone he gets out of his red Strat with the red headstock and Dickey's mastery of the major scale.

Warren has said several times the band in the early 90's really had the energy dialed in. Probably the best while he was in the band.

Yes the early 90s may be the closest to the energy and pop of the original band which is the high water mark. After Duane they never equaled the energy and creativity of the original. I'm forced to conclude Duane Allman was the fire behind that.

Oh and not not long after this show somebody ( a real stealing jerk and piece of dung) stole Warren's Strat. Alan Paul said Warren loved that guitar and after extensive searching music stores and pawn shops the guitar never surfaced. Somebody is sitting on that guitar and you'll never sell it because of the red head stock and other customer items. Remove any of that and the value will drop like a rock. I suggest you have it shipped to Warren Haynes anonymously and do the right thing.

Gary Moore had a fiestas red 61 Strat stolen and someone shipped it to him anonymously. It then had a noticeable scratch on the body just above the pick guard. Videos of Gary on Youtube using it in the years just before his death show the scratch. Apparently he decided not to fix it.
