ABB- It Ain't Over Yet

Almost forgot about this song. It popped up the other day when I had shuffle on my computer.
Not a traditional sounding ABB song, but a good one. Sounds like something Gregg should put into his rotation.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,
Always thought this was a Really Great tune,
written by D. Crider and Johnny Neal,
well written and the music goes hand in hand with the lyrics,
remember hearing it in Pelham, AL. @ Oak Mountain Amphitheater
July 4th,1990, in support of the album/cd....Go on take that taxi ride,
Classic Tuneage........

I've always liked this song as well as the entire Seven Turns album. This one and Sine It On are frequently in my ABB playlists. Great songs. Very under appreciated album imho

Has the ABB stamp all over it. Really nice song. Effective use of going in and out of major & minor chords.

I always liked the Seven Turns album. Some really good songs that they stopped playing towards the end.

Great mid-tempo song that has a great vibe. Johnny's piano adds a nice flavor. Love it.

As in, from May 2000 forward... 😮
Oteil sang so great when they did 7 Turns at the 1st show of their final Beacon run Oct. 2014 -- believe they revisited It Ain't Over Yet & others from that era, on that night
