ABB 12/13/70 American University to be released on Vinyl

I got an email about this today.
I believe it's a Newbury Comics exclusive. I've bought a few records from them before and they have always been excellent quality.
They seem to be a little confused about the date in the description but it's the first archival release.
Here's the link.

Bloody hell...bankruptcy eminent.
Much obliged for the info. I bought a few signed cds from them before and the service was always excellent.
Their international shipping charges are also reasonable for present day standards.
This new release looks Peachy. Yummy! Just pre-ordered. Couldn't resist.

Nobody else excited about this release? No vinyl affinciados?

I listen to much more music with the ease of digital.
Better sound without the "warmth" aka distortion.
I ordered a copy today , I've been to a couple of these Newbury Comix locations in Boston .

It's a good performance. Sound quality is meh.
Since I don't listen to it as much as the other Archive discs, gonna pass

They often seem to not give the details that would inspire me to buy as vinyl. Much "new" vinyl and release on vinyl of old releases has undergone a mix or remix that was digital. To analog freaks, that midstream digital is the death of the analog aspect. It starts analog obviously in musical play. If it is analog recorded, awesome. If it is digital recorded then it is converted on the front end. But even with an analog recording as in the ABB tapes of old, if "tidyed up" on a digital remix, it really doesn't matter if digital to analog is done to press it on vinyl at the end. The "warmth" that some don't hear or feel important is lost in the A to D the D to A end result. So a vinyl that has seen digital midstream process really is "faux" analog marketed to make a $ of a growing new sales market, catering to popularity. One can't create true 'analog" off a digital source, period.

I've just received my shipping notification. That was a pleasant surprise because i mistook the release date for the second of march in stead of the third of february.
