A Superb 2:29 Blast Of Energy To Start Your Hump Day

Doesn't get any more 60's than this..........

Hey thank you!! That was a bump of energy. But watching a bicycle being pumped up hill made me realize I can't do that anymore:)Â
Here is 1966. About a Cheater! And something many may not know the lead singer of this one hit wonder group, Walter Scott, was murdered by his wife's lover. Scott's wife's lover also murdered his own wife so the two could be together. But they didn't put them in the same jail cell so it didn't work!!Â

And if you want some HOT 1960's guitar playing, this comes to mind.Â
He was the KING of the hot guitar players. Most say and most polls agree Jimi was the best! Better than Clapton, Beck, Van Halen, Page, Derek, Warren, Dickey and Duane.Â
Â

@robertdee: Why did Walter Scott's wife go to jail? Was she involved in the murders too?

@robslob Scott's wife pled guilty of hindering a murder investigation and sentenced to 5 years. She was released after serving her time and died in 2019.Â
Her lover was sentenced on two capital murder charges. His wife and Scott. A few months after Scott vanished, his body was found floating face down in a lake. Scott was tied and bound at the ankles and his hands tied behind his back. He was shot once in the chest. Apparently his body came lose from what was holding it on the bottom as it floating around in the lake face down.Â
Scott's wife's lover died in prison in 2011 at age 72.Â
I would say he was a mean and dangerous man and why Scott's wife would get involved with him apparently means she wasn't a nice woman.Â
The lover's son testified against his father who had been mean and heavy handed to him, the son.Â
I found my old copy of the record in my storage area with my singles collection. It looks just like this. Wrote on it( bought 1966). I don't know this lable at all. Maybe the lable has some other hits.Â

Oh, what a tangled web ... Oops! Wrong Walter Scott! 😉Â

@jszfunk Love Deep Purple 🟣 First saw them when Smoke On The Water was a hit! Summer of 1974 I think it was.Â
This is late 1960's or 1970 actually. Is this film from the Atlanta Pop Festival? Says it is. Would the Allman Brothers sets look this good?Â
Here is the KING of the hot guitar players taking you on a mind trip!Â

@jszfunk: Damn that cover by Purple was GREAT! Thanks......
I looked on-line and I see 7 and 7 Is was part of the cover album Turning To Crime that Purple released last year. I'm curious but I just don't think I would listen to a Deep Purple cover record more than once so I'm gonna pass on picking it up. Thanks again for the video though..........

Hot Allman Brothers Band show from 1990 in Savannah, Georgia!! To get your day started!Â
