A ‘Socially Distanced’ Venue Held Its First Concert

Okay, but if this is the future for concerts then I'm done.
This "solution" doesn't address restroom lines and congestion - no does the seating appear accessible to those with wheelchair disabilities. Like the t-shirt says, "Yeah, I'm old - but I saw the greatest bands in their heyday!"

I've been to a drive in show with a local act, will be going to see Marcus King at a drive in next month

Basically, you park in every other space, sit in lawn chairs in the space next to where you park.
The show I was at had waiter service bringing food to your spot if you ordered it and a "Booze Buggy" - bar set up in a golf cart.
From the best I can tell, the show I'll be going to won't be selling refreshments but you can bring your own
It's not the Beacon or the Orpheum, but it's live music so I'll take it.

Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe was able to have "Steal Your Peach" play an early and late show on July 10th.
The following Monday Gov. Wolf shut it down.
Everybody wore masks. Seats had crime scene tape over every other two so when you sat you automatically were more than 6 feet. Masks off, cold one raised.
Proceeded to cut the rug up in 1st row balcony with The Mrs.
Here's the opener.
Great pics of Bros and Dead on big screen!

What about the standers and dancers? Talking is probably minimal and limited to each "table" ("cage").
This could have an upside! 😉

Going to see Jontavius Willis tomorrow night at Shelby County Arts Council a bit south of Birmingham. Capacity of about 200, limited to 30 people.
First show since February, so I'm pretty excited.
