A quiz for you!

I've been using last.fm to log my mp3/flac playback for almost 10 years. Recently something cool happened.
There is an untouchable number one in my last.fm artist top ten charts. Against that number one, the other artists were always lagging behind by a large margin. The gap between number one and the others was that large, that the chart on last.fm did not differentiate between anything that came after number one. They were all minor.
A few weeks ago however, a tiny tiny gap between the Allman Brothers Band and the other artists emerged. The Allman Brothers Band finally became significant. I registered on this forum to celebrate this event with you.
Now the question for you is: What is number one?

I would guess Grateful Dead. If not GD then Little Feat.

You lost me @ mp3...

You lost me at Kunstler...

Anyway, welcome aboard persepolis.

I feel this is a trap.
Gotta be either The Dead or Tom Jones.

I'll trade it for what's behind door #2.

You lost me at Kunstler...
German for "Artists"

So far your guesses are wrong.
I don't know if this is a hint: I know the ABB through that artist/band.

Gov't Mule

Molly Hatchet

Molly Hatchet

Dunno. Tedeschi Trucks Band maybe. More cool is that you dig Ali Farka Toure, I love his guitar playing, would put him in my top five favorite guitarists easily.

The Hourglass...

KISS

Sorry guys, so far you're all wrong.
I don't even know the bands Little Feat, The Hourglass, The Dead, Molly Hatchet. I've heard about KISS, Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band but don't own a single song/album. But I'll check all these bands out soon. I guess Tom Jones is a joke. I certainly know Gov't Mule but don't have any of his work. I own one DVD from Clapton. I have a few albums from Derek Trucks that I like, he's on position 27 in my charts.
The artist I'm looking for must be someone extraordinary. I mean come on, I've heard more than 9000 songs from that band/artist (and that's just through my computer)! It must be something, where once you start to dig into, you are sucked into a whole universe of musical gems. Something that stands out of the other artists.

I totally agree BrerRabbit!
