The first time I saw this I was watching it on TV while maybe a high school junior or senior. Near the end I was laughing so hard I had to turn away to catch my breath. I think my ribs were hurting but that could be imagination...

BTW, Duane once compared himself and Eric to "Laurel and Hardy singing the blues" (near the bottom of the middle column). Considering their respective origins (Oliver and Duane from the deep South, Stan and Eric from England) it's a great parallel.

Love these guys, a class act. After Ollie died in 1957 Stan was offered various roles in other films but he turned them all down because he wasn't able act alongside his good friend Ollie, and even right into old age Stan was still writing sketches for him and Ollie.
