So how many tunes did Chuck play with them? Did Warren do all the vocals except Blue Sky?

Yes on warrens vocals
Chuck played on every song from come and go blues through wasting time no more. He did fantastic, the baby grand was a nice addition

Chuck Came back out and played on the last few songs as well.

What can I say? That was just majestic! I barely have words for how high the level got at times. Still exhausted and exhilarated and might be quite some time before I return to earth! My heart needed that so bad. I tried to go in without any expectation but if I had any it was surpassed by miles.

The whole show was just fantastic to me. You could see onstage all night how the musicians were blown away by what Reese brought to the table. Oteil was constantly laughing at something else he added in. When Chuck came out and joined in it just immediately went to even a higher level. I have always adored Marc and what he brought to this band and he was just fantastic. Jai is very old and and all but he was the heart of the whole affair. I cannot say enough about Duane Trucks. He totally blew me away. He may in truth have the hardest role of all here and he handled it all with total aplomb and was on point the entire evening.

There may not be a bigger fan of Mr. Warren Haynes on the planet than me. Yet even I was just astonished how he handled the vocals. Nobody anywhere could ever outsing Gregg Allman. Warren didn't try. He just confidently stepped up to the task and sung the songs with passion and heart and soul. I truly think that the whole band got better and better with each song and I think Derek himself was even inspired by how Warren handled that chore.

What can I say about Derek and Warren and Oteil. They were just simply out of this world. I almost levitated during Jessica. It was stunning and tears rolled down my face as they hit a groove so deep in my soul it was truly an out of body experience. Then the entire second set and encore was just a continual assault on one senses and the idea there were any limits to what these guys could do. All I could think was this is still the greatest rock music ever made and these boys stepped up and made us all proud.

I still have an interview saved where Derek and Warren talked about being like an old married couple who could finish each others sentences. Man that was still there 100%. This was Derek fully unleased and he was staggering. There were times I thought how the heck is Warren going to follow that or how will the band keep up yet everyone did. Like I said I swear Derek got more and more unleashed as he knew Warren was crushing the vocals and the band was hitting on all cylinders. Wow just wow just wow. Oteil was so much fun it should have been illegal.

Maybe there will never be this moment again. But my gosh how blessed we are as fans! For one night all the troubles of the world melted away and music restored my soul. Tears poured down so many times.

Still the heavyweight champion of the world. Long live the Allman Brothers Band!

Tbomike -- Ditto! Totally not being trite. My seat was worth every penny and then some. Surprised by how emotional I was throughout the night.

The vibe and energy and joy this wonderful music can instill in one's soul was so similar to the original band on the several 1971 shows I saw when they were really hitting the note and in their collective stride. Not only do originial songs by Gregg and Dickey import these unique and exclusive feelings of joy, but the cover songs, many of which have been band stables for decades, were arranged where they are basically Allman Brothers songs. It was a great concert.

The vocals suffered only because Gregg was so good and nobody can sing Blue Sky like a young Dickey. It would be like seeing the Stones without Mick. But when people pass away or are unavailable due to age and health issues, you either improvise or not play. I think they handled it well vocally and it was very smart not to call it the Allman Brothers because of Gregg's vocals. And a great nod to Gregg with footage of Gregg at the beginning. With Gregg gone it can't be the Allman Brothers just as it was smart to scale back the name Grateful Dead to The Dead when they lost Garcia.

After that historic jam in Jacksonville that Butch said made him smile and also made him cry, when it was over and Duane Allman blocked the door and said "Anyone here not willing to play in my band will have to fight their way out", Reese Wyman was in that lineup. They had not yet decided they needed Gregg. It was later they realised nobody could sing as well as they could play. That is the only reason Gregg replaced Reese. Reese was already playing with Dickey and Berry in The Second Coming. So one could kinda argue Reese was an original member. That pre Gregg lineup played several shows as an unnamed band after the Second Coming played.

Then Chuck came in when he was just 20 years old to play on Gregg's solo album Laid Back which was being recorded in Macon the same time Brothers and Sisters was being recorded. Dickey had some thoughts and Walden did too of Les Dudek perhaps being on slide and lead guitar after Duane died and Les would have been real good. But Gregg and Butch were very opposed to anyone replacing Duane. When Chuck began to help with Wasted Words, bingo Chuck could be the other instrument to share the solos and Berry was happy with that and is said to have gone out of his way to make Chuck feel welcome and part of the band.

And we know Dickey was the other half of the duel lead with Duane then much later with Warren and Derek so it's easy to connect the dots all the way back to the Jacksonville jam that was the absolute beginning of this wonder music and band. Duane Trucks of course grew up with his uncle being the drummer in this unique band with it's own way of playing music. What we had last night was legitimate, connect the dots, Allman Brothers show.

Whether they could take this on the road without Gregg, I don't know. A Beacon run is a possibility in the spring. It feels as if it could be the next chapter of this unique music sparked by Duane Allman's efforts in early 1969.

3 hours 25 minutes of music. What a night. Chuck our for close to half the night. Saw loads of good folks from the extended family.

And my concerns about the attendance were not well founded. The place was pretty full (and loud cheers). if they didn’t sell tickets in 2 sections directly behind the stage (and those people had been out front), there wouldn’t have been an empty seat (or probably true also if we didn’t have the coronavirus outbreak). The fans were appreciative of what they were given. Jaimoe got a ROAR when he came out to talk out front.

Jessica just gave me goosebumps, truly thought last nights version was as good as any other version I've heard.
I don't care about someone else's favorite version, just my humble opinion but man did they crush it.

While it would be great if they toured with this, Derek who seems to carefully word any comment he makes stated it will be good to play these songs with these people "one final time". I don't see there being a tour.

I do hope this gets an official release and since it was produced by the people who do a lot of these tribute shows that come out, it likely will.

. Dreams was a little disappointing, I thought.

Derek's solo was a little underwhelming but Warren's I thought was the most tasteful he or anyone might have ever done on the opening solo.

I'm with most everyone else here --- effin' phenomenal show. I've run out of superlatives to describe what I witnessed last night.

As others have asked, how is it possible that they could be so good so quickly for just 1 night?

Certainly comprehensible but in no way expected.

WOW --- can't wait to listen again... and again... and again

Thank you so much Jaimoe for making those calls!!!!

I am just listeneing to this after burning to disc and sticking it on the hi-fi as loud as possible without upsetting the neighbours. Absolutely amazing, the recording has come out fantastic. I have also watched the videos up on youtube. And as I was listening to the show my copy of ''trouble No More'' dropped through the letterbox, perfect timing indeed.

Nothing but hospitable and mostly sober folks around me in the 3 spots I took the show in from (slope above the soundboard and spot in middle of floor for a song). And lots of room the concourse area which helped at intermission and after.

ISLALALA - Agree this was a amazing show, first set just blew me away. I loved Dreams.
Second set, grooving downstairs, wife up in bed, could not believe how fast 3+ hours went.
Man were they on fire. I put a dot by the songs I though they just crushed......lots of dots.
Incredible show, hats off Brothers... Come & Go, Jessica, Revival, Trouble No more really nice.

Thought the show including intermission break was 4 hours +, started 730 ish an ended 1140 ish.

Flew in for this show with high hopes and expectations. I was not disappointed.

Thought Derek and Duane did a great job pulling the train, freeing up Warren to concentrate on singing. Oteil was beaming throughout, Marc throwing in the flourishes. MVP might have to go to Reese. Outstanding considering he doesn't play regularly with the boys.

Favorite moment was in thesecond set, when Reese took a solo, maybe during Every Hungry Woman, with Derek looking on. Reese nods at him , but Derek shakes his head, like no, give us more.
Reese tears another solo. Great hearing Chuck sing Blue Sky. Great energy throughout!

Fine sound in section 227. Excellent light show. A fine and fitting finale to one of the greatest jam bands of all time. Thank you ABB for 50 years of knocking my socks off!

I had posted during halftime that in section 210, we could not even hear Derek's guitar for a second during "Dreams."

However, I thought Warren was off the charts on that song. His first half was lovely.

asking just for curiosity but did they even invite dickey to come at least sing a song as I know his playing is no longer up to par? what about any of greggs kids or Oakley jr or duane betts?

Dickey was invited and declined. The Allman Betts Band just played a show in LA with Robby Krieger and Matt Abts.
