with those lights it makes it look like one big crowd, you can't tell where the stage beings or ends...gotta go jam on this one...

I don’t think any other rock band ever mastered dynamics so well.
Never afraid to take the volume or tempo down and bring it up again.

Real good musicianship and music. But I'm glad it's The Brothers and not The Allman Brothers. As it goes along Gregg's vocals are irreplaceable. Really missed.

Reese is killin it on liz reed

YES!!!

Holy shit. That was worth every dollar.

Agree wholeheartedly, but its 2020...these guys are bringing it... and killin i.t!

I wish I could be there for this! I agree with you guys, take this band on the road for a mini tour- PLEASE! Since Derek probably won't want to do this, just get Jack Pearson to replace him.
And thank you for updating us folks without nugs TV access!
Jack for Derek would work, but Jimmy Herring is also an option if Duane Trucks were to agree to tour as they would have to schedule around Widespread Panic dates anyway.

That whole 2nd Set was GOLD

If they do whipping post they lose a lot of money.

Derek is from another planet

Derek is from another planet
Definitely in a league of his own

Not keeping Reese in the band from the beginning was a mistake.

That was AWESOME, now go on tour

Thank you Gentlemen &goodnight.

I want to watch that again.

Not keeping Reese in the band from the beginning was a mistake.
I heard he only left because they wanted him to put a salami down his pants.
What a great show that was!
The stream was fantastic - probably better than being in the arena in some ways.
I know they have their fans on here, but Derek is wasted in TTB. He has a lot more to bring out of himself.

That kicked ass.
Derek was tight, melodic and ON POINT tonight.
Hope these guys tour.
TTB has done Derek a WORLD of good tightening up his craft.
Time to Unleash The Beast.
The Derek/Warren/Otieil, Marc, Jaimoe lineup needs to tour.
Derek is poised to make history playing this material.

So bomb, thanks for the updates, I love the ABB & yes this by the sound of it was the ABB:D, Chuck singing Blue Sky, can’t wait to hear that, & the Mtn Jam....
Hopefully a CD release, sounds as if, some-how they didn’t miss a beat between Oct 27-28, 2014, & March 10, 2020

It brought a big smile on my face when I logged in and saw a song set list thread (those were the days) . Did we expect anything less than what we saw tonight? Greg is and always will be missed but man he would have loved what they did tonight. Pure, raw and dripping with master musicianship they celebrated the 50th in a righteous manner! Thank you again gentlemen for the incredible music!

IMHO they should have added one song to the encore. Just one. Ramblin’ Man. As a nod to Dickey. Just sayin’.

And we have our 1st Dickey comment That would really make it sound like the old days!

No Little Martha over the speakers after the show.

Chuck singing Blue Sky was a wonderful nod to Dickey & one that I’m sure did Mr. Betts proud, just as the whole show would’ve

Just got back from the show and still coming down from the high-in several ways. This show ranks in the top 5 shows I have seen at MSG in the 2000’s and I have seen a lot. Stars of the night to me were Derek and Marc Quinnones.
I sat in 114 which is the side of the stage by Jaimoe. Jaimoe is limited physically. Tough night as he had problems with his equipment and was doing the best he could do but was clearly limited physically. Duane Truck was terrific but Quinnones kept the rhythm section intact. The great thing about the Brothers is that they always had a groove to what they did and the rhythm section is key.
Derek was...astonishing clearly pushed by Warren. Maybe the best I have ever seen him and that is saying a lot. Loved Wynans and Leavell on the keyboards and Oteil is smooth.
Just a fantastic show and a way to end the legacy. BTW, the sound was terrific in my section.

I missed it, 4:30 West Coast start time just didn't work for me because of work/commute.
Any word of a DVD release?

Probably the best Derek performance I've seen. Reese was replaced because Duane offered his chair to Gregg for singing and writing. Should have kept him too and Stevie Ray Vaughn could have found someone else. But then they wouldn't have needed Chuck in 1972.
Jaimoe is mid 70's and doing a show like this on a tour would be challenging.
Anyway very good show and a great nod to Duane, Gregg, Dickey etc.

Last night was a lot of fun. MSG was packed, standing and dancing all night.
I thought Warren did a good job covering vocals and I’m glad there were no guests.
I’m not a fan of TTB so I’ve missed Derek, it was definitely his night.
My top songs were
EHW
Jessica
Liz Reed
AMCTB

So how many tunes did Chuck play with them? Did Warren do all the vocals except Blue Sky?
