I think every pro is dirty to varying degrees. His job is to get under peoples' skin and he does a great job. But you don't want to know as a ball crusher as the respect value from other players drops quickly. It is just cheap and he is better than that.
It was a split second decision which I am sure he regrets whether he admits it was intentional or not. But there is no doubt about what he did or where he was aiming.
He has put himself in this position for his actions in multiple games. Hurts his team. But has also done a great job with Lebron so the team has to suck it up.
Curry is great but will someone crazy glue that mouth guard in place.

well lets see what happens. right now there is no clear finals mvp for the the warriors and I believe espn said if curry isn't finals mvp he will be the first multi regular season mvp and multi nba champ who hasn't won a finals mvp. right now curry is averaging 21ppg, was only 16ppg through the first 3 games, and 4.5 turnovers a game in the finals and after leading the team in steals this season curry only is averaging 1 steal a game in the finals
I thought the goal was to win an NBA championship? They are on the verge of doing that. You could coach OKC, where in crunch time it all comes down to is Westbrook and Durant.
Curry is great but will someone crazy glue that mouth guard in place.
Well, someone in this thread knows greatness when he sees it.

Curry is the obvious MVP (despite that damned mouth guard) as the team lives and dies with him. The supporting cast is great but he is the deciding factor.

CM also said something about not being able to make out Lebron's tats. CM, don't be that guy

I don't think Draymond is dirty, but he is a little cheap. That last altercation was the least egregious of his incursions thus far this playoffs, but the league needs to check him. But the Warriors won without Curry (against lesser teams, no doubt), I think they will be fine for 1 game without Green.

Wariors fan that I am, nonetheless I cannot disagree with any of that. I said all along that Green should have been suspended when he kicked Steven Adams in the balls. It just came a bit later............the NBA had about enough of him now. I too think they are going to win tonight without Green. You are going to see an extremely motivated bunch of guys, and that bunch of guys may be the deepest team in NBA history. Bogut said about the same: "We have enough players. If we can't get motivated Monday with the championship on the line, then what are we doing here?"

Losing a dynamo like Draymond with his assortment of skills will have an impact. I am looking for Harrison Barnes to be most in the spotlight as his role replacement, especially if the Warriors decide to play small. He will probably be defending LaBron when Iguodola isn't, be asked pick up some of the rebounding slack, and should be more involved in the Warrior's offense. Pending free agent will have a chance to really shine.

Barkley says Green reacted appropriately.

Big loss for GS...if any team can win without a key player,it's GS.Should be fun-hope is another competitive game.

It was incidental contact.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------You can't honestly believe that? Nothing incidental about his attempt at a bagging. It was very targeted for "incidental". To not see it for what it was is denial. It's cool as you are backing your team. I get that. But........
I watched the replay again several times this morning. I admit, before this morning I had missed Draymond flailing his arm into LeBron's crotch. It happened really quick. Yeah, it was another dirty play. But LeBron's "stepover" instigated the whole thing.

Well the hair is pretty close. And the kids have bought me quite a few Donald Duck shirts over the years.
Honestly - what the hell are his tattoos?
One is Gloria I think but can't make out what the background is. Then I think he has his Swiss bank account numbers on his forearms. The other arm - no idea. Even when I look at a close up, no idea.
Game time.
Wife vs Son - I think my wife's GSW win tonight but love teasing her with my son. Could enjoy getting on her nerves for a couple more games.

kyrie irving is a beast

Lebron & Kyrie were just incredible last night.
can two guys taking most of its team's shots beat a complete team(with Green)? Can Lebron's outside shot be relied on?
i have to believe GS will still win-but if these two guys stay hot & if the Cavs "D" is on,who knows? I'd still bet on a team approach....

Stick a fork in the Cav's, nothing else matters, this series is done.
Not quite so fast Sir..........we've got a series now..........thanks to Irving and James. First time in NBA history that teammates have each scored 40 or more in the Finals.

Irving managed to turn it on, but Lebron and Irving aren't going to put up 80 points every night. Irving had 34 in Game 4 and they lost. Game 5 was pretty close until Bogut went down. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal since he isn't a huge offensive weapon, but without Green, it seemed to leave the paint wide open for Cleveland down the stretch. Not that Cleveland would not have won had Bogut stayed in, but I think it would have been a lot closer, the Cavs would have had a harder time pulling away.
I still see GS closing this out tonight, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see Cleveland push it to a 7th game since they are at home tonight. I get that sports writers have ink they need to use, but Curry and Thompson still combined for 62 of GS's 97 points (11/25 from 3 ain't bad). It's not like they were ice cold, we are just used to them playing so exceptional due to the bar they have set for themselves. GS only had 15 points from their bench, and Bogut only played 8 minutes. That's a lot to put on the shoulders of Iggie, on both ends of the floor, who had 15 points himself.
Should be another great game tonight.

Should be another great game tonight.
Tomorrow night, 6/16.
Wouldn't want you getting frustrated, throwing your remote later 😉

Ha, oh right. Finals games used to be Sun-Wed-Fri. Now it's all stretched out and irregular, like all of the NBA playoffs. That's really going to take the wind out of my viewing momentum! Just have to wait another day I guess.

That's sort of how I feel during a game when the refs go to the sidelines to view and view and view a play.
Mixed feelings on this I guess:
-by all means let's attempt to get a call right
-allows the players to catch their breath
On the other hand:
-disrupts the flow and potential momentum previously built up
-generally takes too long

Bogut is done for the Finals, but no surgery needed. This will make it more difficult for the Warriors, he is a huge presence under the basket at both ends of the floor, though he has been pretty quiet since game 2 or so. As long as Green can keep himself out of trouble and on the floor, I think the GSW can still pull it out. Ezeli iis a solid backup. Might mean they have to do it in 7, but who knows? When the Warriors get hot, they get HOT.

I agree with this. bogut, iggie and green are the heart of that defense and I think its funny people keep acting like curry is a monster one on one face up defender. those 3 guys cover up his mistakes and at the end with 2 of them not playing kyrie was licking his chops every time he had curry guarding him. the fact curry gets a lot of steals a game doesn't mean squat to me. westbrook and kyrie have shown that curry at best is a slightly better than average defender

Not going to comment on draymont actions with Lebrun, did he or didn't he! Whatever, the call was made in my opinion suspiciously by the league which wanted a longer series.. Considering what he did prior to game 4 , and wa not suspended, makes me wonder why this incident was so bad.... Anyway GS should have closed out the Cavs Monday, now it will be Sunday in game 7, I don't see the Cavs loosing at home tonite. Now with the loss of Bogot, the dynamics change a lil bit'. I have been pulling for the Warriors all year as long as it didn't effect my Heat.... That being said I root against LeBron now that he's taken his talents back to the mistake on the lake!

Ramblin' Man was heard at one point last night, going to commercial, nice.
Next up, Game 7.

Warriors - Cleveland? I say Warriors in six. Whatever happens, it should be a GREAT one to watch!
Wrong on your first point, correct on the second.

Hate to gloat, but hey, I'm a Bay area Warriors fan.
"Cleveland is at full strength this year. The Warriors were lucky to catch them when they were down last year."
That is what some have said. I know it's not over yet, but I'd be interested to see if anyone still believes that after the first two games of this series.
I kind of expect Cleveland to win one at home, but not both. I originally predicted Warriors in six. After those first two games............I'll have to change that to Warriors in five. And the most amazing thing about this is that neither Curry or Thompson have gone off in this series yet. The Warriors may be the deepest team in NBA history.
Lots of wrong in this post.

And for Curry: You're a punk assh*le and a sore loser.
Fixed that for you rob 😉

And before anyone goes off on me, allow us Cleveland fans to bask in this glory for another day or so.

That was some BAAAAAADDDD basketball from the Warriors. It's one thing to kick it out for 3 when you're hot, it's another to give up easy drives to the hoop (or free throws, at the very least) just to kick it out for a brick. Cleveland kept them running, the Warriors couldn't seem to slow them down to get their shot back until late.
Curry and Thompson still managed 30 and 25, but they need some help from Green and Iggie (last year's Finals MVP for good reason) under the hoop, especially with no Bogut. I still like GS's chances at home on Sunday - they were in this position against the Thunder and OKC looked like a better team than the Cavs (well, except for last night). Then again, this could be LeBron's moment to prove that he can do it on his own and without his Super Friends in Miami.

Sure can't fault the refs or anything else. It was great play by the Cavs but also cold shooting by the Warriors. Curry and Thompson were fine, but no less than FOUR prominent Warriors couldn't throw a pea in the ocean: Green, Barnes, Igoudala and Livingston. That won't happen two games in a row.
And they miss Bogut's defense in the paint. I admit, game 7 is a tough row to hoe with Bogut out and Igoudala hurting very badly. At least he's got two full days off before game 7. I have faith.............we can do this.
And yeah, Curry lost his cool. It ain't over yet, and we've got them in Oakland.
