A complete 2015 interview with Gregg Allman. Originally done for The Wall Street Journal, but only a fraction of it ran. It strikes me now that was the last time I interviewed Gregg. It caused quite a stir because he said that he'd like to play with Dickey again, but the whole thing is fun.

Nice AlPaul. Great interview. Hard to believe he has passed on.

Apparently he and Dickey began talking on the phone occasionally after that overture to Dickey. I guess Gregg played more shows with Dickey than anyone except Butch and Jaimoe.

Where you tempted to say " When Duane called you to join his new band in March 1969.....you were in LA and the band was in Jacksonville. How did you get across the country?" Smile
