Correct. Several of the employees of the Beacon told me at intermission that the band was going to remain on stage until midnight. I guess there was a change in plans but WOW, what a good show!

What an outstanding start to what promises to be an eventful run. Great interplay between all the players but two different times Warren and Oteil stood toe to toe doing an answer and call. Truly spectacular..........and Derek........well he just brings it every single night! Lots of laughing, smiling and communicating all night. Gregg sounded great..........seemed to tire in the second set,but overall sounded real strong. At one point he addressed the crowd about the end of the road.......saying, and I quote........"it's been a stone groove playing for you all in NYC all these years........don't worry, we'll be around" I may not make it in to see the ABB again but if that was the last time I ever have the privilege of seeing this great Band of Brothers.........I can say they flat out brought it hard last night, enjoy the rest of the run everyone.........it's gonna be one to talk about for years!

I'll be there tonight.

The only 2 songs they skipped were High Cost & Melissa.

2 Gregg tunes skipped. Hope he's feeling well. Seems like a strong show for an opening night though. Hoping to get in Monday if Tuesday is pretty much going to be impossible to score the day of.

not a bad looking setlist

Briefly..a good show, not a great one..Gregg seemed to tire in the 2nd set...Highlights were YDLM closing out the first set, Come on in my Kitchen, The Sky is Crying, (Warren & Derek were outstanding),, Nice to hear OWO without guests..Jaimo played almost the entire night and Butch and Marc were totally in synch...Gregg's voice was more than fine..he simply is pacing himself for the run. Great to see them all up there, but it is kind of bittersweet.

I'll be downloading this show from Munck for True Gravity & Spots of Time alone!
And the rest will be a nice bonus... 😉

After the show we hung out by the side door..........Jaimoe and Marc were out fast and left rather quickly. When Gregg came out with his girlfriend and Chank he seemed to be in a great mood. Went from side to side where people stood, signed LOTS of autographs and genuinely seemed to be having a good time. Does he look a bit tired, sure does, but he is a 67 year old road warrior! If he wasn't feeling good, no way would he have spent the 12-15 minutes he did with the fans! Also saw Galadrielle, what a beautiful and gracious young lady! If you have any way to get to these shows.........get there..........they were really on for an opening night!
