Dickey Betts Memorial Scholarship Established at Berklee College of Music, Feb, 28 Concert to be LiveStreamed
This Friday’s concert, February 28, 2025, at the Macon City Auditorium will honor the legacy of Dickey Betts and also raise funds for a new endowed scholarship at the Berklee College of Music in his honor.
Performers include Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Oteil Burbridge, Jaimoe, Chuck Leavell, Devon Allman, Charlie Starr, Jimmy Hall, Lamar Williams Jr., and Dickey’s son, Duane Betts.
The In Memory of Dickey Betts concert will be livestreamed at nugs.net for those unable to attend.
The Dickey Betts Memorial Endowed Scholarship will provide financial assistance to students demonstrating exceptional musical ability and financial need.
